Inspired by meditation, mindfulness and miksang, I decided to record everyday life sounds, resulting in (contemplative) phonography. Listening to sounds as a part of self, because each being is a part of the Universe, that is the sound itself. Listening to sound as a complete landscape. I like random gifts, pure gifts. I don't want to combine chords, create melodies and structure it with beats. What inspire me is the world, non-musical matter and, at same time, music itself - the muse itself. I take a step back and display what there is before music, behind it and behind life. I want to radicalize, show the root of it. I desired to make tunes without any references to musical instruments, but compositions that also produce harmonies, atmospheres, dynamics, rhythms, melodies. The musicality comes from rearranging real world sound cells. Exploring the limits between music and "non music", at the edge of a cliff, diverging away from other venturers. Cells that seem instruments may appear on this recomposing process, but they will never let listeners forget that those cells are a familiar sound piece that will defamiliarize itself inside a song context.
